Here are some of our completed jobs - we hope you can use them for inspiration.
At Windmill House we were instructed by the main contractor to undertake the full mechanical works. This included the plumbing, heating and gas. We installed all hot, cold and waste water services throughout the property to supply feeds for 1x Bathroom, 2x En-Suites, 1x WC Room, a Kitchen and Utility.
We installed the following –
-
A zoned central heating system allowing the customer to programme each room of the 4 floor levels.

Underfloor heating to the basement, ground floor and all bathrooms.

Designer radiators throughout.

Worcester 50kw heat only boiler and Worcester 300 litre pressurised hot water cylinder to the Plant room.
On the Church Drive project we were instructed by the main contractors to undertake the mechanical package. We were given architectural plans of the property to work with.
From this point we designed and installed a plumbing and heating system to suit the client’s requirements.
This included the following –

Supply and installation of Underfloor heating throughout.

Design and installation of the Boiler/Hot water plant room
-
Design and installation of 5x En-suites, 2x WC rooms, plumbing services for the kitchen and utility.
At The Assembly rooms in Lytham we were instructed by the main contractors to re-design the existing Boiler/Plant room.
This involved the following –
-
Upgrade of the incoming gas supply
-
Flushing of the existing central heating pipework free from debris
-
Installation of new radiators
-
Splitting of the central heating system into two zones so the building could double up as a library and social room.

Supply and installation of new sanitary equipment for the Ladies, Gents and Disabled WC rooms.
This was a job undertaken and fully project managed by ourselves.
The outline of this job was to turn a small 3 bedroom dwelling into a medium sized 4 bedroom dwelling with open plan living.
Plans were drawn up by our chosen architect and a planning application was submitted.
The works undertaken were –

Removal of existing garage and strip back the overgrown garden
-
Construction of a 7m lower rear extension which wrapped around on each side of the property to form an open plan kitchen, dining and living space.

Construction of a first floor extension of 4m which added the extra bedroom and en-suite.

New roofing
-
Electrics - including a new RCD mains board, lighting, switches & sockets throughout
-
Plumbing and heating services - 2x bathrooms 1x WC, designer column radiators, underfloor heating to the entire ground floor, boiler and hot water cylinder

Plastering, tiling and decoration throughout
-
Kitchen installation
-
Joinery - including internal framework, floor and roof joists, doors, architraves and skirting and feature traditional panelling

Landscaping to the rear, block paving to the front.
At Leckonby Hall in Garstang, the client’s requirements were to have a more efficient boiler room and heating system, and to have pressurised hot water on demand.
We redesigned the plant room, with works including –
-
Decommissioning and removal of the existing boiler, hot water cylinder and all pipework from the room
-
Flushing of all existing pipework and radiators.
-
Full ply-lining of all walls and installation of water resistant flooring to make a new, clean and maintainable space.

Conversion of the heating system from a problematic gravity fed system to a pressurised heating system.
-
Installation of 2x 30kw Worcester 800 Series boilers, Worcester low loss header, a 300 Litre pressurised hot water cylinder and pump unit and a large Grundfoss central heating pump.
We will maintain this yearly and the customer has the satisfaction and peace of mind of a 10 year warranty on the boilers.
Bar 186 is a trendy, sleek bar in the heart of Manchester on Deansgate.
On this project we were instructed by the main contractors to install plumbing services throughout.
This included -
-
Installation of a pressurised hot water system to cope with the demands of a large bar and toilet facilities.
-
Installation of hot, cold and waste pipework to the gents, ladies and disabled toilet facilities, including wall hung toilet frames with motion sensors and concealed basin taps with motion sensors.

Installation of coffee machine and plumbing in of dishwashing machines and back of house facilities for the staff.
This is the Smith & Craig office space. Having weighed up the pros and cons of buying or renting some office/warehouse space, we decide to build our own office in the yard we rent. We looked at all types of constructions but found the best method for what we needed would be to convert two 40ft shipping containers.
The works included-

Removal of the steel for window and door openings

Removal of one full side of each of the containers
-
Construction of a solid level base for the shipping containers to be craned onto
-
Joining of the containers together so that there was no movement.

Installation of timber framework to the walls and ceiling and installation of a floating floor Insulation to the flooring, walls and ceiling
-
Installation of plumbing and electrics
-
Plastering and decoration
-
Flooring laid, installation of kitchen and WC

Cladding of the exterior
At Barrique we were instructed by the main contractor to install plumbing requirements for the bar/restaurant.
This included the following –
Installation of a pressurised hot water system.
Installation of hot, cold and waste supplies for the bar, gents, ladies and disabled toilet facilities.
Supply and installation of sanitary equipment to the toilet facilities.
City Distribution is a bathroom wholesaler and bathroom showroom with whom we have close connections with. We have designed and installed plumbing and heating requirements throughout the building including a gas central heating system for the showroom and office space and also toilet facilities. We also install, update and maintain the showroom displays.
At Long House Lane, we were instructed to undertake the mechanical package for a large domestic property. We were given architectural drawings to work with and design our heating system around.
We planned and installed the following –

Underfloor floor heating to multiple areas of the property

Designer radiators to all remaining areas of the property

Boiler/hot water plant room

Supply of sanitary equipment to 5x En-suites, 2x WC rooms

Plumbing services for the Kitchen, Utility, Gym and Steam room and much more all to the specification of the client.
At Quilligans café restaurant we undertook all works to upgrade the toilet facilities in the Gents, Ladies and Disabled. This included –

Strip out and disposal of the existing suites

Building alterations

Joinery, tiling and the supply and installation of sanitary equipment.

Installation of hot, cold and waste services to the kitchen and bar areas.
Nederman Ltd is a manufacturer of air extraction systems. We were instructed to design, supply and install central heating to large office spaces over two floors. This required installation of a new gas supply, boiler and radiators throughout. We also updated the gents, ladies and disabled WC rooms along with supplying and installing all products.
